Katherine Casey is a Professor of Political Economy at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her research examines how asymmetric information in electoral contests affects voting choice and public sector performance in Sierra Leone, and the impact of foreign aid on collective action and economic development. She received her PhD in Economics from Brown University.
Katherine has served on the review boards of J-PAL's Governance Initiative, Crime and Violence Initiative, and Invited Researcher Selection Committee.
