Muhammad Zufar Farhan Zuhdi

Research Associate, J-PAL Southeast Asia

Muhammad Zufar Farhan Zuhdi is a Research Associate at J-PAL Southeast Asia, where he supports a research project on empowering households, farmers, women, and MSMEs through digital financial services. He also contributed to project development efforts under the Inclusive Financial Innovation Initiative (IFII), including studies on microfinance, branchless banking agents, and lending products. Prior to joining J-PAL, he interned at the Center of Financing Adaptation, Innovation, and Resilience (C-FAIR) at the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), where he supported research on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks faced by companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Zuhdi completed an MPhil in development studies at the University of Cambridge with a scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), and a BA in international relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada, where he was recognized as the most outstanding student at both the faculty and university level.
