Keesler Welch joined J-PAL in 2013 to manage and administer the American Economic Association's (AEA) randomized controlled trial (RCT) registry, while also providing support for Professor Abhijit Banerjee. In 2016 she moved to the research team full-time and manages the J-PAL Research Transparency Internship program. Prior to joining J-PAL, she received her MA in international affairs from The New School in New York, and conducted fieldwork in Kathmandu, Nepal. Keesler brings several years of programmatic and research experience to J-PAL from working alongside WaterAid America and The Foundation Center. Aside from international development, her specific interests include water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) issues.
