Dina Pomeranz is an assistant professor at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on public policies towards firms and entrepreneurs in developing countries. In particular, she has conducted large-scale randomized field experiments about tax evasion by firms and about determinants and impacts of formal savings for low-income micro-entrepreneurs. She is a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a faculty affiliate at the Center for International Development (CID), and a member of the State Capabilities Programme at the International Growth Centre (IGC).
Dina earned her PhD in economics from Harvard University and previously taught at the Harvard Business School.
