A team of researchers at PSE, ZI Mannheim, the World Bank, Ulm University and MIT evaluates the impact of a social media campaign among Ukrainian refugees in Germany (dissemination of videos through refugees’ Telegram groups) to reduce mental health stigma and increase the uptake of mental health services.

The team includes psychiatrists (Sasha Moldavski, Nicolas Rüsch) and economists (Alexandra Avdeenko, Luc Behaghel, Esther Duflo, Artur Obminski, and Yagan Hazard).

A first experiment took place in November 2023 within a panel of Ukrainian refugees. The main campaign on social media will be launched end of April 2024. The research assistant will work closely with PIs to consolidate and participate in the analysis of the data. 

Tasks:

The field coordinator will work closely with the researchers and PhD students involved in the project on:

  1. Monitoring of video dissemination using tracking data.
  2. Consolidation of dataset and preliminary data analysis.

Skills required:

  • Good programming skills. Proficient use of Stata and/or R software
  • Rigor in data management
  • Autonomy

Organization of Work

The work will take place in Paris (with possibilities of working online). To undertake the internship, you must be able to obtain an internship agreement (or convention de stage) from your university.
