Webinar 1: How to Prepare for Graduate Study Abroad

21 April 2023, 3:00 pm SAST

This webinar targets Africans who would like information on pathways to acquire the skills and experience that set you up for graduate study abroad and strengthen your application. In addition to representatives from the Graduate Applications International Network (GAIN) and Pathways to Research and Doctoral Careers (PREDOC), we will have a current African PhD student who can speak to the process they followed and their experience thus far, as well as a researcher in the J-PAL network who completed her studies in the United States and works at the University of Ghana. We will share resources on application mentorship programs, scholarships and how to put together a competitive application with all applicants to the webinar.

Details on the second and third webinar will be made available later in the year. Please email Yanang Silas-Bossan if you have any questions.
