John Cavanagh is a Research, Education, and Training Associate at J-PAL Global, where he works on research methods and transparency, including projects on research resources, data publication, and an RCT metadata catalogue. Prior to joining J-PAL in 2020, he worked at Boston University as a research assistant on projects studying spatial inequality, immigration, and political outcomes, and interned at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

John holds a master’s degree in global development economics from Boston University and a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Virginia.
