Senior Policy Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Rijul Grover is a Senior Associate at J-PAL South Asia, where he leads the implementation of the Every Child Counts (Math Games) cascade model under the ASPIRE initiative. In this role, he works closely with government partners, civil society organizations, and the research team to expand the reach of an evidence-based early childhood math intervention. His work includes designing pilots, monitoring progress, and shaping strategies for scale-up of the intervention. Rijul also contributes to J-PAL South Asia's broader efforts on scaling by developing operational frameworks and knowledge products.

Previously, Rijul worked with J-PAL’s Education sector, where he helped build research partnerships, explore the feasibility of new projects, and launch new studies. He played a key role in establishing J-PAL South Asia’s partnership with the Department of School Education and Literacy in Karnataka. 

He has also been part of CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia's Training team, where he focused on building ecosystem capacity for data and evidence use.

Rijul holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and brings prior experience in both research and investment banking.
