Shruti Gupta

Shruti is a Senior Training Associate at J-PAL South Asia where she assists in capacity building engagements and monitoring and evaluation functions to promote evidence-based policy making. 

Prior to joining J-PAL South Asia, she worked extensively in the research and policy sector across academia (National University of Singapore), research organisations (International Center for Research on Women, Aapti Institute and ORF) and the private sector (Microsoft Research India). She has also worked as a Legislative Assistant to Members of Parliament. 

Shruti has a PhD from the National University of Singapore and a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
