Justine Knebelmann

Justine is a Postdoctoral Associate at J-PAL with DigiFI. She completed her PhD at the Paris School of Economics in 2021. Her current research projects revolve around fiscal capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa, and also investigate how enriched information systems can improve the functioning of public institutions. Prior to her PhD, she worked as a researcher at the Uganda Revenue Authority in Kampala, and was a visiting scholar in economics at Columbia University in New York.
