Babaso Ombase

Babaso Ombase is a Senior Project Associate at J-PAL South Asia, based in Pune (Maharashtra), where he supports the Every Child Counts project with SCERT across all 35 districts of Maharashtra. As a member of the Research Operation team, he supports project execution, field implementation, monitoring, training, data tracking, and coordination, while maintaining administrative records and MIS and coordinating with research and implementation stakeholders on curriculum-related activities.

Prior to his current role, Babaso worked as a Project Associate at J-PAL South Asia, supporting project execution, field surveys, data collection monitoring, and field implementation. He has over 15 years of experience in project execution, field survey management, data monitoring, team training, recruitment, quality checks, MIS, and coordination, with previous roles at the Institute for Financial Management and Research, Poliyline Tech Ltd., Sharp Publication Pvt. Ltd., Aircel Cellular Ltd., and Vodafone Cellular Pvt. Ltd.

Babaso holds a Master of Arts in History from Pune University.
