Puneet Repalle

Puneet is a Policy Associate with J-PAL South Asia. He works primarily in the Education Sector at J-PAL and is currently placed with the Scale-Ups Division. Prior to J-PAL, Puneet was a Junior Research Fellow at the Delhi School of Economics where he worked on various projects that had a developmental outlook. He was also with the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society of the Government of Telangana wherein he led the Higher Education in Delhi project. He also has experience with the Integrated Tribal Development Authority of the Government of Telangana where he worked with Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. Puneet holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Hindu College, University of Delhi, a Master's in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and is currently pursuing a PhD. at the Delhi School of Economics, his thesis is titled: "Studying the Interactions between the Police and the Marginalised in Theatres of Insurgency and Contexts of Militant Agitations". Puneet also writes on conflicts and politics regularly and was a national level triathlete and swimmer. He is an avid runner and a voracious reader, his interest lies in studying ethnolinguistic groups and understanding conflicts and insurgency.
