Jesse Rothstein is the chancellor's professor of public policy and economics at University of California, Berkeley, and the faculty director of the California Policy Lab at Berkeley. His research interests include economics of education, labor markets, and tax and transfer policy. He is an associate editor of The Review of Economics and Statistics, Education Finance and Policy, and Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society. He received his PhD in economics from University of California, Berkeley.
