Akanksha Gaurang Soni

Akanksha is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia, working for the ‘Improving School Performance at Scale: Indian States as Laboratories for Innovation, Evaluation, and Evidence-based Education System Reform’ project within the RISE programme.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Akanksha worked briefly with the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey (CPHS) team at CMIE. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds after having completed graduate study.

Akanksha graduated from the University of Warwick with a master’s in economics and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
