Lori Beaman is the Breen Family Professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University. Lori's research interests lie in development and labor economics with a focus on the role of social networks in the labor market and in agriculture, and women's economic and social mobility. Lori received her PhD from Yale University.
Lori serves as Co-Chair of J-PAL's Gender sector and the Gender and Economic Agency Initiative. She is also on the review board of J-PAL's Invited Researcher Selection Committee and has served on the review board of the Agricultural Technology Adoption Initiative.
